The catalogue appears to suggest that the whole fuel filler is replaced. This sounds expensive.
Why didn't BMW fit the screw whole variety like on the rest of their models?
Has anyone seen the above mentioned item for the r1200s?
Is it just the original item that some engineer has drilled and tapped.
The same part number is listed for the '08 R1200gs
Gonna make some calls over the weekend an see if I can track one down. Just would like to see what sort of quality it is before I order if its going to replace the whole thing...
