Are you not happy with your current set up then?
Steve
Current set-up works a treat - its just the standard Zumo mount. This MV looks like it'll be able to mount the Zumo just a bit more in my view and it looks a bit neater - and easier to remove if I need to.
I ordered one of there front wheel stands too.
Andy
The parts came today, The mount is a bit of a pain to fit but its finally there. It places the GPS unit much nearer the centre which I prefer and it means you don't have to clamp around your bars which can be a bit unsightly. Just hope it doesn't fall off! its very hard to do it up tightly!
Heres a comparison:
With standard clamp
With MV part
The stand is excellent. No instructions but goes together with a bit of common sense. Very easy to use, It fits just under the caliper mounts - from what I can tell - as I said no instructions.

Stoney - Did you fit the Zumo to the RHS so that the instruments could be seen better? I always thought the logical side for the 2610/Zumo was the LHS so that you could (illegally ) poke the buttons on the move.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........
See if that works .....

I did think about those reasons to put it on the left, but I put it on the right as you say, because of the instruments..and it feels more natural for me.

No, and I'm still sulking
I did get an email from ups stating delivery expected fri 28th
too late for the weekend, not that i need it, but it would have been nice to try it out.

Well I finally got around to fitting it today, and I have to say I'm not impressed it simply does not tighten up enough to be secure! I ended up adding a layer of tape AND loctite-ing it in place. Time will tell if it holds fast or not.
it is a great idea, let down by a poor fit
