One of the ideas I'd had was to hold the event over the same weekend as this year (so Friday the 20th / Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April 2018) at Baskerville Hall, near Hay on Wye and be able to do the ride out around the Brecon Beacons and Mid Wales.

Perhaps getting into a situation where we use The Wild Pheasant, The Lion and Baskerville Hall (the bird, the cat and the dog
) in turn giving a "wider" coverage of the principality?I've been speaking to Baskerville Hall and they have many accommodation offerings from camping > dorms > budget rooms > standard rooms > executive rooms.

£53 dinner bed and breakfast in a budget room
£65 dinner bed and breakfast in a standard room
£75 dinner bed and breakfast in an executive room
all prices are for shared rooms with a £10 extra for single occupancy.

The hotel has an indoor pool too.
Baskerville Hall is the same as you've heard of from Conan Doyle's "Hound of the Baskervilles", however, as he was friends with the family he set the book in Devon to protect the family from tourists.
I hope everyone likes this idea as it gives us a fantastic new area to explore and a new venue to add to our "portfolio". The Lion btw was excellent this year.
