The Spanish Trip

Postby GerryB » Sun Oct 23, 2016 8:10 pm

Well, as you may have seen , I was laid off last month.

So, the great hunt for employment began again ....

After 2 weeks of scouring web sites, applying left right and centre...

Decided to pop over to my flat in Spain , and continue the internet search , in the sunshine .

I got off the ferry in Bilbao last monday morning.

860 km ride home , easy.

Then wednesday I had an appointment in Torrevieja .

So afterwards , I took a good rid around the Embalse de le Pedrera.

Stopped to do the usual selfies ...

Today I decided to do a ride, similar to what I'd ridden on my Super Motard in April .

160km ride up through Oriheula, to Hondon de los Freites .

Love it .

A bit of sunshine works wonders.

Good luck with the employment search.

Chris.
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Thursday out and about again.

I had a sort of rough route planned .

As it happened, I couldn't find the road I was looking for , but found a great one to ride .

Between Murcia and Balsicas .

This road through this valley was about 15 km ....

Corners . Lots of them !

Yesterday we rode a route roughly parallel to the coast towards Benidorm.

In the mountains , up and over so many, all seriously windy roads, absolutely great .

We ended up at the Castell de Guadalest Motoring Museum .

Over 200 miles , two up with no problems at all .

I really love this bike .

Good old N9 JOB ....

2000 miles since I got on the ferry last month .
