There's less than 20 places left for the 9th June day at Snetterton, particularly suitable for beginners, road bikes only, no tyre warmers, I hope to make this my 6th day with no red flags. More info at http://www.sporting-register.talktalk.net/

The June 9th day is now full, I am compiling a reserve list.

Spaces left for the August 18th in all groups.

Cadwell Park on Sep 29th may be altered as follows....

Hi

Firstly thank you for entering the Cadwell Park track day; as you will have read in the small print it can only go ahead if there is sufficient support.

The circuit is owned and operated by MSV who have been very patient with me thus far but I am now under pressure to either confirm or cancel our booking. At the moment, with only 52 bookings, I cannot confirm the event without making a significant change.

If you all agree to pay an extra £35 (making a total of £135) then the day will go ahead with a maximum of 70 riders split into 2 groups. The track time will be split evenly between the groups so for your extra £35 you'll get an extra 50% track time, a total of 3½ hours on possibly the most attractive circuit in the UK . The remaining 18 places will be sold at £135, the same total price as you will have paid.

I plan to start the day with 20 minute sessions for the first 2 hours, and then move to 30 minute sessions for the rest of the event and my team of instructors will make sure that less experienced riders, and those who are riding at Cadwell for the first time, are comfortable before riding the track on their own. As at all

BMW Club track days the instructors will be available throughout the day, happy to ride with anyone who asks, free of charge.

Please let me know as soon as possible, and in any event by Tuesday 28th May, whether you are happy to pay the extra and I'll get back to you with the result.

Thanks R B

Ok trixters, ant of you guys going to the BMW Club track day this Monday 9 June? I want to gauge the interest if it is viable to grab a garage for all of us meaning the guys from OMC and Boxertrix.

I'll reserve a garage for you if I get time to sort it, otherwise just get there early and get one about number 10.

2 places left due to a cancellation.

That's the job no one wants to do, if you would do it I'd be really grateful, it's best done by a pretty female but you come a close second!!!

For those reading this but have not a clue what it's about, we have a sweepstake, pound a go to guess how long it takes me to do the main briefing, half the money is a prize, other half goes towards buying the instructors lunch.

I'm coming along with metropolis2k and surflogic.

We should be up there Sunday afternoon.

Ha Ha, if I took 37 minutes I'd have my right hand mans boot up me ass! you lot would have lost interest and gone for a ride, probably round the track and I'd have a sore throat! it's the MAIN briefing, this year we may even time it!

Over the weekend I'll try and sort a sign for the garages, anyone coming to my pad Sunday evening?

See you all bright and early Monday morning.

Ok fellas, I'll see you guys in the morning. Got to be there early to set up the garage and get the paperwork done. I don't know yet which garage but have a look out for the Oakley MC flags.

All done and dusted, excuse the pun. We had a lovely time at Snetterton as always. It is just a fantastic circuit, easy to learn if you are a novice and rewarding and challenging circuit for the faster guys.

I must ask for forgiveness having caused the first red flag of the day. Nothing serious but it could easily have been 2 bikes in the field. Long story if you want to know. I'm ok and the bike is ok having cleaned and checked her over yesterday. Nothing to replace but maybe I should have replanted the parsnips in the field :D . Noticed that the brake pads is now finished after this track day and the tyres are worn on the edges, good for another track day or 2. I'll need to replace the bake hoses sooner rather than later. The hard braking is taking its toll on the rubber and very noticeable when I squeezed it in the garage. I think it is also the cause of the slight brake binding.

Good to see the guys from boxertrix. You all have some lovely examples of the boxer engine propelled machines. Thanks for sharing the garage with us from Oakley MC. The BMW Club track days are definitely one of the highlights of the year. You see the same people there every year and it is more like a friends reunion in spirits kind of. Thanks to bins for the organization and putting up with us numties. If I keep on crashing I think I'll get banned. :D . I wont be doing the Cadwell Park event but I'll offer my assistance for the event. First have to check the shift roster. Thank you very much guys. Just a few choice ones. Do not have one of me or er-minio.

Joseph, thanks again for the hospitality!
Happy the bike is ok and you too, apart from random vegetables here and there.

Really cool day.
I finally had a chance to drive the HP2!!!
I was super nervous (never drove it before apart from 3 miles in London's traffic to the MOT) but we started being "friends" after a couple of sessions :D :D :D

Some random instagram shots + obligatory vanity shot.

Hey Josef, thanks for letting us share the garage with you, it was great to catch up again. Also thank you for not punching me in the face when I was making off-roading / GS jokes

I didn't end up with any photos (waiting to receive them from Picman) but have a few crappy videos of us.

You can definitely tell the difference between tanneman's stock can and cat compared to a y-piece and Laser cans! Mine sounds like a gigantic fart down the straight.

I also got a couple of sessions of onboard footage thanks to erminio's GoPro. I'm going to have to invest in one myself I think, they're such a good tool for learning!
