Looks good and you can more than likely count me, Keith, Mark, Ollie, and Martin in for this weekend

I'll book once I've got some feedback from the other guys

Do you know if the Lion Hotel taking a deposit at this stage?

Thanks for sorting out another fine venue for us

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

I've emailed them to ask if they're taking deposits. My guess is yes as we'll be taking over the place for a weekend :D

If I don't get a reply I'll give them a bell

Thanks for the info Steve

I'm not sure whether Keith will be up for it now having spoken to him last night, as I found out he'd crashed not once but TWICE at a Donington Park track day some 6 weeks ago and bust himself up quite badly with rib and hand injuries. Says he can't even squeeze toothpaste from the tube with his damaged hand

His Triumph 675 SE is also written off as well, so he's not a happy man at the moment

Not good, as he's self employed as well and has been off work since the crashes and definitely won't be ready for the Hawes weekend :(

Shxt, that is not good to hear. I am pleased he perseveres to clean his teeth cos oral hygiene is very important and it proves that all bikers are not animals  Give Kieth my best regards and I hope it does not hurt to much when he laughs. Shxt Fxck I am really sorry to hear that. Was it Redgate?

He's getting better but still not sure about Hawes, he's lost his mojo a bit to be honest!

He fell off the first time at Redgate (65mph ish) and then again at Goddard's (40 MPH ish) -----if your gonna do it then do it in style

Cheers

Hi Chris

I'm glad to see that you still subscribe to Peoples Friend, it was my Mother's favourite magazine until she passed away 4 years ago at the grand old age of 97

Great that the interest in the publication hasn't waned :D
