Got home @ 16:45 after a couple of coffee stops to ease a few aches!! Great weekend as usual and nice to catch up with people we haven’t seen for a while.
Thanks Steve for the organising the weekend and leading us around some of the more obscure highways & bye ways of N Wales and hope everyone had a safe trip home.

A massive thank you from me too - great to meet everyone and get away from the rat race for a couple of days.

Safe home at ~1:30; wall to wall traffic for a lot of it so gave up trying to 'make progress' as too stress inducing. A couple of nice bits though - not exactly what I'd had in mind but little Garmin clearly has an unpublished and always-on setting called 'inventive'...

And a huge thank you to Steve for his local acting unpaid role as tour leader!

See youall next time, all the best, James

You're welcome guys.

Apologies for the detours that had to be made thanks to the relevant councils closing roads, and starting road works, and the police closing routes because of accidents :)

The final detour I made was as we got onto the A5 at Corwen for the trip down to Llangollen, my sat nav links to my phone for traffic information and it was telling me there was a 1 hour 15 minute queue to get into Llangollen on the A5. I quickly decided to route onto the A5104 which is a bit of a bind as it's now average camera limited to 50 mph, but I figured travelling at 50 was preferable to trying to get a large group filtering down a twisty section of A5 :)

Plus it meant having to come down the horseshoe pass again, even if a badly placed pothole almost caught me out while on m line :)

It was great seeing everyone again, I imbibed way too much red wine on Saturday evening so can't recall a lot of it :)

We had a family visit in Nottingham yesterday, and back home this afternoon.

Super time in Wales meeting up with old friends. Thanks to Steve for organising, and what happens in Great Orme remains in Great Orme ....

An excellent meet and some great roads that I've never seen before.

It was good to meet some of the southern contingent and have some crake - the rugby club fight outside on Saturday night added some entertainment.

Many thanks to Steve for organising.

Here's to the next one.

Cheers all.

Thanks also from me (and Sue) for the great job organising the weekend Steve (including the weather). It was an excellent trip - bike now officially run in!

Got back yesterday after an overnight stop on Hadrian's Wall and lovely drive up through the Borders.

All the best

Another excellent weekend Steve if a little strange not to have Mrs Popsky with me. The weather was the icing on the cake and the less said about the Great Orme the better
