Bike show NEC
Anyone down at the NEC tomorrow? Should I be prepared for the total and utter disappointment it used to be when I was a annual visitor?

Probably but it's a day out - I'm going next Saturday just to view the new GS and contemplate a purchase next year

I don't think I'll be bothering with the NEC or Excel shows any more. I've seen the future, and it is called EICMA Milan.
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Yep - generally as poor as it ever was with even less retail than I remembered too. Managed to get some decent kit for the kids. Was nice to see all the latest bikes, and sit on a few potentials for my 2019 ride.

Ha, see where you are coming from Andy, I use to be critical of it, but these days it`s more of a social thing to have a weekend out with friends. Come to think of it I use to be critical of most things until I happened upon enlightenment, in the form of new life grandchildren. it`s what you make of it, all promo shows are stereotypical and not what they are hyped up to be. Chill man! Hope you happened across your next ridestoney wrote:Anyone down at the NEC tomorrow? Should I be prepared for the total and utter disappointment it used to be when I was a annual visitor?

Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Me and an Irish mate are off on Thurs to check out the Indian FTR. Whatever happens, the incredible mile gobbler that is my RS will be staying
