Thought this was just a car event

It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.

I went about 10 years ago, did 14 runs on my R1100RS, best time of 12.3 106 MPH. that was about the 8th run, no matter how I tried I could not get under it, after the 12th I was getting slower, it's all about getting off the line, I was the only bike there so no-one to race with. I'd done a few of the MCN street bike meetings back in the nineties, had great fun then in the twin class, got beaten by a lady in the semi final at the Snetterton round, I'd knocked her husband out in the quarter finals, I was in front at the 1/8th marker but by xxxx did that Triumph 650 twin fly!!!
I was on a standard R100CS, best time 12.6 with the dry single plate clutch they are really easy to get off the line.
