r12s 190/55 too big for you ilmburger hugger? Do this

After fitting a dunlop roadsmart IV 190/55 I realised that my ilmburger hugger was now unusable ! After research I realised that I needed an HP2 sport hugger for this tyre size. Boo.

I decided to make a bracket to move the hugger upwards and slightly backwards. I spent an hour measuring and visualising, before breaking out my hacksaw, halfround file and drill. I had some 5mm 7075 aluminium plate lying around from a previous project so set to work. The bracket is 100% functional if not 100% beautiful, but as it is out of site I am happy with it. I think the rear tyre size should be 190/50 not 190/55. The hugger should then fit

Yes standard tyre size is 190/50, but I wanted 190/55 which should give me slightly better turn in.
