In my seemingly unending programme of sorting my 11s, I had the r/h indicator not working sometimes.
Cured that one, and today the l/h decided to join in the fun. Both lamps suffered the same failure.
Turns out that inside the brown plastic bulb holders for the front indicators (where the wires go in) there are two electrical blade connectors which fit on the hidden ends of the bulb contacts. But, there is a moulded rubber seal supposedly stopping corrosion ( and access).... So I cut the rubber away to discover the blades were off the bulb contacts, easy huh? well, yes. I slid the blades back on, and sealed the lot with a hot glue gun and voila, indicators.
Another step closer....
