R11S Tank Pad

Postby dmmsta » Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:41 pm

Can anyone suggest a low key tank pad.

Have had a quick look on the eBoo and there isn’t much choice outside of garish Ninja style stuff.

There’s a couple of BC originals but they are £££

I'm looking for the same, not seen anything I like yet.

I may try a piece of Ventureshield, good quality and virtually invisible.

Oooh

Was thinking of similar as an alternative, but didn’t know what to look for.
That stuff looks good. £13 on Amazon for 600x100mm piece isn’t too scary.
Guess it can be cut to shape.

I got a clear tank protector which fits the centre panel - looks OK. Think I have a black one the same size somewhere

Sounds good, are they still available and can you remember where you got them, any pics?

It’s just a standard spine type. Think I got it from a local bike breaker/accessory shop. Haven’t mastered the pics but yet but I’ll check out if they are still available at the shop
