Syston Park Speed Trials

A lovely bit of nostalgia.
Back in the pre-WW2 years, Syston Park near Grantham was a regular venue for hill climbs. Not used for a long time, 3 years ago it was decided to organise a revival meeting for pre-1939 cars and bikes. This was the first time I've been, and it was a fantastic day out - some wonderful machinery (including a Type 35 Bugatti valued at just south of £2M) and a great atmosphere.
