The LED indicator is on the end of a bendy-stalk, so you can run it up the inside of your screen.

Seconded, I had one of these on my old Funduro
It's now connected to a battery in the garage and the flashing light serves as a lookalike alarm led at the window
Must pop it onto one of the bikes sometime

Al you've made me just do the impulse buy (I spotted this item about 6 months ago but never committed back then); I went for used option which was less than 12 quid, it's just arrived & is like new... Interesting comments by a few folk moaning about it not being live re mobile stations but the fact is it's a permanent (semi) solution which if you want real time live (ie for mobile) then you are better off with a smart phone (with relevant app) or dedicated route planner with such functionality... For me I'll take the chance with this as my primary day to day wArning system... Brad
