RiceBurner down but OK

Postby julian » Wed Jan 11, 2006 7:31 pm

See below a post from Visordown by RB's Missus (Mitzi) post #131. Don't start at the first post because it is more grim than what actually happened. RB is OK but the Rockster didn't fair too well after a freak interface with a Landrover. I'm posting this for those here who would want send their best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Visiordown Post #131 Here

Well, we're home. Firstly thanks to all for all the GWS posts (even Qwerty). It means a lot to RB.

Rev Fred's pretty much put the details of the accident - RB'll go into discussions when things are a bit more settled. His broken hand is currently strapped to his chest, and the tender tendons in his left hand mean typing is not a good thing at the mo. Although as he can't walk either, I suspect surfing and slow typing will come about in the near future.

He's propped up on pillows in bed trying to find a position that doesn't make his eyes water

Pics for your perusal.

BEst Wishes to him, tell him he isn't the only one to have gone up the arse of a land rover, another BMW rider last August Bank Holiday went into the back of my friends Land Rover so it must be a thing about BMW's attracting each other (TD5 engined Land Rovers of course ;) )

Hope you heal fast and can sort everything out ok - sounds like a pretty unlucky chain of events.
