Breaking a 1200 S

Postby MickB » Sun Oct 24, 2021 5:25 pm

There is someone in Germany, who is breaking his 1200s. He is offering a pair of boxes and frames as part of the deal. Please be aware that according to my German mate, Klein anzeigen is similar to Gumtree ie no comeback on the seller or protection for the buyer.

Link below.

Hope this proves to be of use to a forum member

Thanks Mick, although it's all in German.

Can you translate for me?............ there's a jammy donut in it for your services.

The BIG issue, is zip all come back if he does a runner with the money. On that basis, I'm out - as they say in Dragon's Den.

Cheers, Nick.

It means small ads but it appears to be eBay. Maybe this is what has happened since Brexit?

I'll have to pass on the doughnut, I just copy and paste the text into google translate. I have bought stuff off here before without any problem.
