These guys have a relatively inexpensive R1200s for sale compared with others out there. Click on his sub menu "Bmw" scroll down, yellow one Ohlins ABS, 2006 34K sub 4k.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
