Having sold my 11S today to Pete, am bidding farewell to you amazing people.
Thanks so much for all the help and advice in the past few years and for answering my stupid questions.
Stay safe you lot, I'm off to pester another forum

Re: Bye bye
Good luck with the new bike. What did you go for as replacement? No need to hand indoor Boxertrix membership, we will still talk to you even though you have swapped machines. Turn up at any Boxertrix event these days and you'll see R1100S and R1200S are usually in the minority.
Cheers,
Paul

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Re: Bye bye
Thanks Paul, am looking at 1050 Tiger's. I have a limited budget so looking to spend wisely
Re: Bye bye
A good choice, I normally ride with a friend on an 09 Tiger 1050, did 2500 miles with him last year through the Pyrenees with no issues and he certainly enjoyed the ride. Comfort was not an issue on the two 400 mile days and he seemed to be able to keep up fairly well through the mountains. It also looked good in the orange livery with top box and panniers.
