Currently in the annual insurance renewal cycle, trying to wheedle money off £200 or so for next year's cover for 2 bikes...

Meanwhile, met a mate yesterday who runs a 1200GS. He's based in London and has now had 4 bikes nicked, including one from outside a police station with full CCTV coverage. He was saying that his premium is now £2,000+ and he's banned from bringing a bike inside the M25 so has to keep it in a cow shed somewhere... Puts my negotiations into a rather harsh perspective!

My bike has had 3 theft attempts since summer. There's a bit of an epidemic on I think.
