Site software update issues

Postby Paul » Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:38 am

Hello good people of Boxertrix,

The web platform that Boxertrix is hosted on has recently stopped supporting the version of the PHP software which the site is written in. I have updated it to run on a newer version, but there are still some glitches at the moment. Please bear with me while I try to resolve these over the coming days. In the mean time, you may see the odd PHP error message when you try to view some pages. This is annoying, and I'll try to fix that, but the page should display reasonably well after the error messages.

Apologies

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Thanks Paul

You really do keep all the IT issues under control so I can get my daily fix of Boxer stuff.
Doubly important now I am going through the old gentlemans' prostate issues, with catheter, morphine and taking more tablets than a pharmacy.

Keep up the good work.

Glad to hear it Al. Now remember in future, don't do whatever it was that you didn't do in the first place to get the ban that you didn't get! If that makes sense?

Cheers,

Paul
