How to delete your email address !!

Hi all
My son asked if you can delete a email address (hotmail I think he users),
the reason is that he has been getting things like.......your tickets are ready
your order is sorted, that kind of thing over the last week which have nothing
to do with him.
Any ideas.

Yes you can just cease using that account and create another one.

The emails you mention are all attempts to drop software on the users PC for nefarious reasons.

I tend to use one email account for "registering" with things, once it's proven that I'm not getting junk relating to that registration I move the registered email address to my "good" one, so far it's kept most of the junk out
