compact camera

Any suggestions for a recent compact camera. Mine is about four years old now. I want to use the replacement to copy old photos and then as a general purpose. Budget is about £100 - £150. Lumix T7 is the current suggestion, can I do better?

I chose : Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX20V - as new, Amazon £170.00.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.
