Decided to nip up to the Altnaharra Hotel during my holiday from work.
270 miles yesterday
276 miles today
About 260 tomorrow
Then 270 home busy few days
The a836 North of Inverness has to be one of the most scenic routes in the UK
The RT is a great tourer making light of journeys. At my last service last week work discovered the exhaust flap has been sticking, and replaced under warranty goes much better now than it did on the Welsh weekend

Looks like the weather will be good most of the time for your trip too. Haven't done the A836 as yet but now on my list of roads to ride North of the border, cheers for the heads up
