Wedding anniversary meal

Postby GRAgusta » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:49 pm

Hard to believe another year has gone by, but it's our wedding anniversary again. Friends recommended the Monacyle Mhor in Balquhidder as a good escape location with a fine restaurant..

We journeyed down through Braemar, Pitlochry, Killin, Lochearnhead.

Return journey was Crianlarich, Glencoe, Fort William, Spean bridge, Aviemore, Corgarff, home .... 378 miles.

The journey was excelent, and Jenny is getting the hang of this motorcycling game now ... she did really well.

And the meal ..... was everything we hoped for.

I was watching the Scottish golf open this weekend and the scenery was superb, combined with your relatively empty roads I,d say you have it made when the weather plays ball. The food doesn't look to shabby either.
