Year - over
Well -after a good 300 mile run yesterday to Stirling/Loch Lomond/Inveraray/Oban/Tyndrum/Crieff/Knockhill and home, with Yogi Bear and his cousin - on my GS................
I think the biking year is finished for me (work etc will prevent any more runs soon)
So - The bikes are cleaned and put away until March, I think...............

Are you sure you don't have yours set at 125% or higher?
Al
Nope. This a 22" HDMI monitor and I have to shrink 'em down to 50% to see 'em

Very nice did you buy it like that or have you shelled out the (not so) small fortune to get it up to this spec? I bet that's quick and must handle almost telepathically!!
Sorry I mis-read your 1st post I though you were on a GS!!
If I see this (there can't be many-IF any) similar bikes certainly not in Scotland I'll come and say hi!! Same if you see the humbug bike parked up anywhere!!

Not at all
If I told you that the bike owes me about £8,500 (inc bike) to get it where it is today? If I sold off the old forks/shock/wheels - I could recoup about £600 of that.
Now done 9,000 miles (7,000 by me).

Just had the same issue with Brittany Ferries last Friday night, should have been on the Caen - Portsmouth overnight crossing, cancelled due to industrial action !
Hotel over night then a Le Mans style start (at least 10 bikes) from the hotel heading up to Calais and then Dover to home on the Saturday.
Quite a long ride that was, but not too many complaints from the missus on the back of the GS
