Aberystwyth again

Postby slparry » Sun Jun 09, 2013 5:52 pm

Lovely day out from Wrexham to Bala to Dolgellau>Machynlleth>Aberyswyth with Barney (B-King) and Andy (F800ST)

The bit from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth was fun, as we got joined by a guy on a 1984 RD350 YPVS ... it was a joy sat behind it with the whiff of two stroke, the crackle off his expansion chambers added to the fact he was getting along very briskly :)

Wander along the prom in Aber checking out the bikes etc,

Then up to Devils bridge and on to the A44 for petrol and lunch stop at the George Barrow Hotel http://www.thegeorgeborrowhotel.co.uk/ Sunday Lunch carvery, eat as much as you want and return back to the carvery as many times as you want for £7.

Then along the wonderful A44 towards home, to add to the classic theme of the day we had a "dice" with a silver Aston Martin DB5 that was being very very quickly driven, not often you get to see a classic car like that being driven in such a manner :)

Then of course stopping at the pub down the road on the way home for a quick pint of Wrexham Lager
