I am new with my R1100S -1999
hi all,
i am new to the forum.
i bought a red R1100s from SPC during September (just before they closed).
Its a '99 non ABS model with panniers, heated grips, open Laser pipes, carbon hugger etc.
the bike has done just under 15k miles.
I have had mine Dyno tested at PDQ in Taplow (http://www.pdq1.co.uk/) and she kicked out a healthy 95.01bhp as well as 71.27ft-lbs which i am pleased with on the back wheel.
I am also planning a round trip through Spain next May.
possible route is:
Santander
Madrid
Granada
Motril
Bedar
Alco
Valencia
Barcelona
Andorra
Santander
So any tips please let me know.
I also have a Garmin Quest, so if anyone has a good route or waypoints for the Spain trip please feel free to send them to me.
thx Lars

I see Andrew has perfected the art of time travel?
(even allowing for a typo, Andrew - are you having 5 week holiday??

I wondered when Ron Emailed me saying I was going for 2 months (typo, I would never write things down wrong M'Lord).
I have now corrected it, going for 8 days, well 8 days there, 3 days on the ferry.
Got it booked with Dai HIGGS cost £500 for the 2 of us including cabins and meals. Cheaper than booking direct, by a few pounds.
