Hi all,

Bought the cheapest R1200S in the country last year. 2006 with 107k on the clock.



I assume a previous owner used this forum as there were boxertrix decals on the tail.

Bought the bike for a cheap summer bike but as with most things in my life I couldn’t just leave it be…

I’ve stripped it down to bare bones, powder coated everything, fit a 2019 DOHC engine



I’m hoping to still have it ready for summer but it’s turned into a total money pit

Lookin for a few bits in the classifieds… if anyone’s interested I’ll make a thread documenting my progress

Fingers crossed for May, it might not be finished but should certainly be rideable.
