Another newbie....

Had the bike for a month or so but taken a while to get my registration approved, so hi!

Picked up a rather nice 2002 R1100S. Carries it's 34000 miles very very well - far better than the 10 years newer Triumph I PXd against it.

Unbeknown to me at time of purchase it has a decat pipe but unsure if the ECU chip has been changed, need to check. Apparently the bike came from the factory with heated grips, sports suspension, black drivetrain, pillion seat cover, wider rear wheel and the hard side cases. Since owning I've added the delightful topbox and also clear indicator and brake lights. Unfortunately no centre stand fitted but another member has an Abba stand that I'm due to collect.

I'm not entirely new to R series, having owned an R1150R Rockster about 10 years ago.

As soon as we call the call to collect middle.yoof from uni, if that's OK with you?

Welcome. You've got the best colour scheme (in my humble opinion).

Enjoy the bike.

Thanks. Other than a BCR, it most certainly the best colourscheme.

Just FYI I've run my '99 example with a decat Y piece from '03 with 14k miles to currently 130k miles with no ecu mods without issues .
