Hi
I’m not really new to the forum as I have had an R1100s and R1200s before and quite a few bikes in between. I have now decided to go back to one of my favourite bikes, the R1100s and managed to find a 2005 no ABS, one owner with 8000 miles and I absolutely love it. With the bad weather I haven’t had chance to do many miles yet only 300 or so. I have done a complete service , I also had to reduce the ride height as it had sports suspension and I found it a bit to tall for my little legs; a standard torque arm and replacement front shock from the shock factory and it’s now perfect. Mike from the shock factory was extremely helpful and the product is excellent and I would highly recommend them. The bike is standard but did come with a Sargent
seat which looks new but I have decided to put the original on and will probably sell the Sargent seat at some point. I’m glad to be back on Boxertrix which is a fantastic forum.

Welcome back into the fold Chalky
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
