Hi all!

As I've mentioned in another post I'm the fortunate guy to be taking over the keys of Merecat's R1100S. The circumstances that bring about my ownership of the bike are frankly horrible, but I nonetheless feel honoured to carry on looking after the bike in his name.
I look forward to contributing, getting involved and meeting people. Have done a few little mods to the bike so far. I moved the bars back below the top yoke and soon decided that was a mistake. Have also fitted a wunderlich foot peg lowering kit. It's also now got a tank lock tank bag and Tomtom rider 410.
I'm still getting used to the boxer twin experience having hastily sold a Suzuki GSX1250FA. It's definitely got character!

I'm a controls support engineer and have worked for the same company as Merecat for around 11 years now. Therefore I'm always happy to help where possible with electrical issues.

It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.
