How's it go ? In a straight line bl00dy fast, round corners it feels bl00dy fast, but it needs a lot of input to get it round and it's not that fast but not as bad as i thought it would be,
Traffic light grand prix? what fun get it rolling just off tick over open throttle leave black line on road

GOOD GRIEF DAI! Now we know why you've been so quiet. Big decisions to be considered eh mate?

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.
It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

To be honest the back mudguard looks far better in the flesh for some reason it looks awfull in the photo
The folding side mount number plate is just begging to be forgotten to be folded out
Not your mates old bike Phil one previous owner not from Exeter
Steve for some reason i wasnt that keen on a almost stock 1200 sportster it may have been that perticular bike but it just felt rough the 883 /1200 converted bikes i have ridden seem nicer and less buzzy
Hoot to ride sets off every car alarm in ten yards
As i have said i have liked everyone i have ridden[ i have still never ridden a stock one ] but do like this one more than any of the others, the biggest i have ridden in the past has been 1340 but this one will stomp all over them also it has a six speed box apparently the motor is spinning at 2200 revs at 60 in top red line i think is at 5500
The only downer Ann wants me to fit the dual seat and pillion pegs!

Nice one Dai. I had a Street Bob amongst others for years. Same pipes as yours, stage 2 filter and a Power Commander. I did upgrade the forks and shocks with Hagons. Torquey as hell and with a little persuasion would scare a few of the weekend rodeo crew. Even with the added ground clearance it would trail sparks like a good,n.
I,m sure you,ll enjoy it, can almost hear the scraping from here.

I really like that.
I'm also a big fan of HD's - not the full-dress stuff admittedly, but have always like the less 'chromey' Dynas and Sportsters too. I had one of the last Dyna Sports imported into the UK and it was huge fun - handled reasonably well too as long as you didn't get too lary with it. Went like stink up to 70mph or so (it had 1550cc big bore, Stage 2 cams, larger valves, V&H 2-1 pipe). Sounded incredible. Taking the bike to the local bike haunts in London (Ace Cafe/Box Hill etc) many times I'd get the local sportsbike guys pop over for a chat about the bike, usually saying 'Normally I can't stand Harleys but that is gorgeous!'

How's it stop? The back brake's pretty good i think better than the R1100S, the engine braking is great, the front well think of a 70's XS650,
