1.0L 8V 4cyl.......car
After nearly 15 years without a car of my own I decided I don't like snow and two wheels any more ..... Amazingly , looking for a car has made me feel younger than any motorbike ever has... especially when I went looking for insurance quotes with no recent history it made me feel like a 17 year old again.
I'd forgotten how fast I could negotiate a slippery roundabout , how quickly I could unload the shopping trolley into the boot , ( rather than packing it all on the back of the bike ) , how much easier it is to carry that bag of cement in the car .... hopefully it'll spend most of its time in the drive way but its 155 70 tyres have way more grip than any of my bikes at this time of year
Seat Arosa 1.0

Those and the Lupo have a bit of a cult following.
I was waiting for that.... I stumbled across them(lupo/ Arosa) by accident , surprisingly my 6' 4" fits quite nicely. I prefer the lupo headlights but VW seems to carry a premium in this part of the world.

I know i've gone soft but i'm in my second half century so probably past middle age.. unless I live to 100

ickle cars rock!! No power/skinny tyres + snow = yeeha!!!
. Well that's when it's not leaking water - yes folks, Toyota build quality for you.
Yes , got a chance to use it in snow today , must have been grippy snow because I couldn't get it to spin up much
That water leak problem reminds me of an old Fiat i had , soon after purchase I discovered pond life under the footwell...

I've had 2 Fiat Cinquecento Sportings. The 2nd one was a very nicely sorted track day special.
They were on my list , but are a tad small inside for me and unbelievably road tax for an 1100 is out side my budget
Used to race, correction, compete in budget motorsport events with a 1.3 Strada (Ritmo) complete with standard suspension ( that's what the regulations suggested) although most ignored them..
I bought it to make you feel good Al...quote="Blackal"

Great stuff!!
Yup, Toyota (who designed the Aygo/C1/107) didn't design the rear light 'seals' properly. When it rains, water runs down the back of them and through the cable hole which only has a foam 'bung' to prevent ingress. Water then runs down into the boot carpet. Another place is the roof aerial - fortunately ours seems ok on that one.

Looks like I'll have to post a pic of my old one, then.
It was running Bilstein (-45mm) suspension with front strut brace, had a Cobra Clubman seat almost on the floor, Momo steering wheel, Punto 75 cam, induction kit, superchip and Longlife custom made stainless exhaust.
Only sold it when I had my heart attack, so couldn't drive a non-power assisted car for 6 months. Sometimes I wish I still had it - it was a riot on track days.
