...nother bike.

I know it was mentioned in 'banter but just thought I'd do the right thing, and put the new steed in the correct forum. :)

Good job I did that just this morning. :)

In fact that reminds me, I'd better get some more Mother's metal polish...

Must admit to not doing not that many miles on the GS since Kendal last September, But it is now wearing a new set of boots ready for Wales next weekend, Shap for easter(Lamb Henry anyone) Then it will the mass meet at Burton and away to France for the end of May. Age seems to be taking its toll as far as riding through the winter is concerned!!!!

Huw - surely you're not that drunk at five to 11 on a saturday morning?? :D

Had a good 'dust-up' with a guy on a 955 Speed Triple this morning on some of the Chiltern backroads. Nothing silly (ie we were travelling quickly but being safe about it) but certainly not hanging around. We both pulled into Hugnenden M40 where we stood chatting for quite a while. He wasn't quite sure what sort of bike had been following - when he saw the HD badge he was...let's say slightly 'surprised'.

Turns out he was an off-duty bike copper - hence the fact he was making 'progress'. :D

Nice bloke actually - he even mentioned the fact that my bike was a bit 'too quiet'. :D

Nice :)

They're quite a beast these - Thames Valley HD's service manager, Chris Mott (all round top bloke and builder of the fastest V-Rod in the UK) has one of these in the workshop. Had a good look over it the other day - it's beautiful. Sounds incredible too.
