As it says; what you've done to your bike and how it helped make it better.

As previous. Colour copy in the TD holder and original laminated and stuck under the seat. You are displaying a current disc for the bike and I think plod would be hard pressed to make out its not original anyway and he's not going to be able to check it too carefully anyway unless he carries a 3mm allen key !!

It's all checked by computer these days so no need to worry about it being a copy too much.

I now use an Oxford Stainless steel holder which is held together with six very small allen bolts with Nylok nuts. This is bolted inside the screen on my R1200ST so that you can see the tax disc but its out of the rain and unless they have the correct Torx headed driver to get the screen off they ain't getting the tax disc.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

Stupid law is stupid.

Anyone, pretty much anywhere can see if a vehicle is taxed?

Ned, presumably the bolt on version is single use as well. Is that what you use?

Having a K1300S sport now I use the MC3 on the inside lower fairing as it can be seen standing next to the bike,

Although it's not the prettiest sollution, sellotaping it to your bike is the best way.
Mines taped to the screen, taped over the front of the disc.
Easy to nick yes, but utterly useless to the thief as it cannot be tampered with.

That's just a variation on my sellotape method.
If you wanted to do a neater job you could just laminate the disc.
Both ways make the disc useless to theives but of course doesn't prevent it from being stolen.
It's a type of crime that is dwindling now though, thanks to the increasing use of ANPR systems.

Apparently so .

Problem goes away .

As an ex cop, (back in SA ) that's not a good thing if you aren't linked to a pc permanently, going to take an age to check if car is taxed , but that is their problem now
