Here's what I've done then...

As it says; what you've done to your bike and how it helped make it better.

Here's what I've done then...

From BMW...

2006 R1200S, in black, sans ABS
Ohlins and Wide wheel
Black screen
Crash protectors (plastic)

From loads of other people...

Rizoma rearsets - the pegs on the standard bike are slippy in the wet, so I tried a set from a K1200S which were just as bad. Also have the slightly higher and a lot further back... much more comfy for a shortarse like me.

Adjustable levers - much fatter so a better feel than the originals, plus set up for 2-finger braking which is all you ever need.

R&G crash protection - the full set, front axle, swingarm and barends.

Sandbar Hugger - work of art.

MHP downpipes & Remus can - doddle to fit, makes the bottom end much less spluttery and smooths the transition to the top end. Remus isn't the best looking exhaust in the world, but I can't warrant swapping it out.

BMW Navigator II, on a ball clamp attached the LH bar.

AC blanking plugs - bling

(obligatory) small plate

and finally...

A spare pillion seat, with a Givi topbox plate bolted straight through it. 30Lt of luggage secure and waterproof in 5 seconds, marvelous.

Pictures, pictures, we need pictures!

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
