Well the 'Lowering device' http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-R-1100-S- ... 564c9d4d14 that I ordered from 'M+P Direct' at the NEC Bike Show at the end of November finaly arrived after Xmas. I fitted it two weeks ago but the weathers been shite since so I hav'nt had a chance to try it. The back end is a lot lower tho 'cos it now takes a bit more effort to haul it onto the stand. And yes, I know I need to do sumthin with that zorst.
Had to wedge the wheel up to take the load off the suspension.
Easy to fit but I did have to hack away at the seat location to get it back on.
Lowering Kit Fitted.

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.
It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.
