My friend sent me this from his company's parking, what are the odds?
With not even 300 R12S in the UK, i'd guess 1/5 or less are candyred... that makes it 60 across the country. Could mean 5 in London :O
There's a girl at his company driving one so at least one is hers, wonder what the story behind the second is?
What are the odds?

...and both are shamefully devoid of Boxertrix stickers
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
Re: What are the odds?
being lazy - where abouts is the link that I can use to get some boxertrix decals?
and am I allowed to put them on my 1150GS as well?

Re: What are the odds?
what are the odds that they both have badly scratched number plates. Must be a car park vandal
Playing spot the differences (apart from the obvious Number plates / GB label):
Rear indicator lenses.
rear tyre brands
seat colour,
rear spring, (nearest camera has Ohlins)
tank protector,
hugger / no hugger
battery (nearest one has a Moto Batt Yellow battery)
Rear reflector (furthest one has none).
I'll get me coat..........................

There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
Re: What are the odds?
Nice too see them, one of my fondest memories was our first Boxertrix Welsh weekends in Betws-y-Coed, the Sunday after the ride out me and Mrs P were staying on for one more night so when there was another “unofficial” ride out we didn’t hesitate, I remember being the 4th 12s following Stoney, Herrman and Boxered riding some fantastic roads to the Ponderosa

Hey, you! (see what I did there?)
Drop me a PM and I can sort you out with some Boxertrix decals. They are £2 each in either black or silver posted to the Antipodes for an extra £1. You would not be the first to stick some to a GS,and that would definitely make the thing look a lot less ugly
Cheers,
Paul

Back in the early days of the site, when everyone used to turn up on an R1100S, being in a procession of lots of them all running at the same revs, the deep throaty drone of all of the engines in harmony was magnificent to experience when you were in the middle of the pack.
