Meier R9T Racer
... in B&W just as I want, and to be fair the alloy wheels look ok too and whilst the OEM Akrapovich looks ok I'd still like those Zard 2 - 2 pipes I've posted before.

Re: Meier R9T Racer
It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.
Re: Meier R9T Racer
Yes, a nice looking bike. I'm definitely going to try and blag a test ride.
The wheels of my black R12S are in for refurbishment just now. I chickened out of changing the wheels to black, and stuck with the original silver. Looking at this racer, I'm wishing I'd gone black, but then I would have wanted the white stripe too. Hmm...

Look forward to seeing the racer. Seems changing the air filter on the R 9 T is a Pita

Re: Meier R9T Racer
having ridden both, I'd say the R NINE T has the wow factor to look at, but the R1200R has the Holy crap Wow factor to ride.

Re: Meier R9T Racer
I still think that orange and silver R90S Daytona colour scheme that Fontana posted is the best looking R9T, from a paint point of view.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

They did this type of paint scheme for some of the models, and called them the "iconic" range.
They did the black / silver and red / black but not the colour everyone remembers, which was the orange / silver.
I wonder why not.
I suspect they're saving that for a very special version of the R NINE T.
I hope so.
