Loving this weather

Postby slparry » Fri Jul 25, 2014 8:16 am

Isn't life just "better" when the sun's out! Bimbling about in the garage this evening and the mountain (over to the previously mentioned ford at Worlds End) looked lovely in the sunlight

was gonna do the same yesterday when I was off and take the BCR out - It's never been out since I got the VFR, but, as I'm back to work tonight, and I have a downstairs loo that has been part tiled for about 3 months I thought I better start to finish it (I knew it wouldn't all get done) but using the bike for work tonight so at least I'll enjoy going to work!!

8) Yup, lovin' the weather.
Ok, sucks that I have to work this weekend but it was glorious & warm at 6am with no weekday commuters to worry about, so the 40 mile run in was actually really enjoyable,
Lookin' forward to the return trip, even if it is a commute :!:

All photos taken 1st week July 2014 in France. Travelled to the maritime alps between the cote d'azur in the south up to lake geneva. Lake Geneva is about 700 kms from Frankfurt ... where I come from.

There is a spectacular route which is called the "route des grands alps".

Well to be honest we are (we were 3 comrads) a little advanced in age and thus used to some comfort. Hence no camping. We stayed once (at lake generva) in very nice b/b and the rest in small 3 star hotels (mostly logis de france).
