boxer race Oschersleben
Hi all
I will be racing in the boxercup series in europe next year, so i decided to go and see what i will up against. I went to the 2 nd round in Oschersleben in germany. The organizers and the racers made me feel very welcome and i came back armed with enough information to help me compete next year. Heres a few pic......

Respect
We went to a few rounds of the 11S Boxercup series a few years back, those peeps are nutters! very entertaining racing though & the sound sent shivers down me spine.
Once you have the dates/venues at which you'll be racing, post them on here, we could make a trip/holiday to support you at one of the venues.
Best of luck Gus,
Rob & Gail

Good for you Gus!
I did a track day last year on my HP2 and sure enjoyed it. It was about 15 years since I had last raced!
I see a lot of the HP2's are running RT or GS rocker covers........that's probably a good idea to save on the fragile carbon ones!
What is the purpose of the raised rear bracket for the torque arms?? Why raise them??
Good luck and keep the photos coming!
If you need another rider, my old race leathers still fit!!
Cheers

Hi all
Thanks for the support. It is a big task , mainly due to the distances I will have to travel to the races. I will only be able to do 2 or 3 rounds out of the 6. There are 2 races spread over 2 days complete with practice and qualifying. There is usually between 15 and 20 boxers racing at each race meeting. There are some very trick bikes there and racers with all kinds of budgets. I will know dates and locations for next year about December time, so I can work out which rounds will be feasible.
The 107 bike just has the exhaust wrapped. No turbos etc allowed.
The high rear torque arm and extra tie arm to rear diff is a anti high side device. Not all bikes have this.
The event is not televised as far as I know. Didn't see any cameras.
Although it seems I have a mountain to climb in getting things sorted, I am really excited about racing next year!

Gus;
Can you explain to me how the location of the torque arm will prevent a high side???
I can see it being mounted like it is to raise the rear end, but can't see how it would work to prevent a slide...........unless I am missing something..........which is entirely possible
Good luck with your season........and go have fun!!
