Bl**dy Popups!

Postby Huw » Thu Jul 08, 2004 5:48 pm

Is it me? Whenever I sign on in here I get loads of pop-ups for spy-ware ads....even tho' I have the AOL pop-up blocker on!
Probably something has got into my P.C and I'm too stupid to realise it and it's nowt to do with the Boxer site.

.....Still it relieved my anger

It's you mate. We're not sophisticated enough to launch pop-up ads at you. Sounds like you need to download some spyware killers onto your machine. Goto http://www.spywareremoversreview.com/ to download the appropriate free software.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

there's a new virus going around that gets into your registry and then buggers your virus protection programs so you can't download a fix for it, I've got the bastard but all it does for me is pop-up spyware warning shit at initial opening of Internet (porn)Explorer and changed the homepage to a search engine that is not actually on the net but in your machine (about:blank).

Total re-install coming up soon :?
