R1200S FOR SALE ON EBAY WITH BIG BORE EXHAUST ?

Hi Anyone here know who is selling this bike and where they might have brought or had the the big bore exhaust made on it please ?

Or anyone else know where a custom exhaust has been previously been made or can be sourced ?

Could be HPE headers and silencers if so most probably sold by Sandbar composites, Sandbar used to be on here many moons ago. If it is it’s a quality system

the down pipes look like the same as the ones I sold. Not sure off the top of my head who. made them but I'm sure I've got the sticker on my tool box. I'll check when I'm in the garage tomorrow

That's an HPE full system, I have the same on my bike. The tail pipe is the 'slim line' version, which I think was developed when a forklift ran over some stainless pipe in the yard - no room for the baffles now so we charge more.

Got mine form Sandbar, second hand headers and new tail pipe or the other way round, can't remember. The second hand bit came off his 'Humbug' bike which may be the one the Stephen400 is making such a cracking job of restoring (yes, we like shiny things way down west!).

From what I can gather, rocking horse poo and very expensive if you find them, way back when the exhaust was nearly half the price of the bike which I'd just got - with 300 miles on the clock.

PS, very loud as well

the pipes look the same as the BOS pipes I sold to someone from this parish but they fitted an Akropovic end can with out the cat so you could be right Topcat if it is a bigger bore

i have the HPE headers on mine and they are more curved than those on the photo - maybe they did different ones but mine a definitely a different shape
