2007 R12S with all optionals

Postby victorlaszlo » Wed Jun 12, 2019 6:17 pm

Ok, relocating to Asia, my bike has to go.

Most comfortable sports bike ever, will eat every pot hole and speed bump under braking without issues due to the paralever design.

I've used this as an exceptional all round bike, riding to work, going on holidays, even doing a few trackdays where it holds up incredibly well against more modern inline fours due to the great braking stability and high corner speed.

Comes with "everything", i.e.:

  • BMW luggage
  • BMW tank bag, never used
  • Ventura rack system (not fitted)
  • Ohlins suspension all around
  • Dunlop Roadsmart 3 tyres
  • BMW heated grips
  • 6" rear rim
  • Pyramid hugger
  • Wheels powder coated gloss black
  • Cylinder heads powder coated satin black
  • USB charger fitted
  • Original RAM ball mount fitted
  • Front and rear dashcam (1080p/720p)
  • GPS tracker with lifetime subscription fitted but I haven't been able to set it up with UK SIM card, works with foreign though but ran out of data
  • Remus exhaust system
  • BMW paddock stand (see images)
  • Can throw in a rear seat bag perfect for carrying a chain etc
  • Probably more things but this is what's on top of my mind right now, please feel free to enquire
  • Recent MOT (April 2019)
  • Recent new rear brake disk
  • Brembo red sintered brake pads front and rear
  • 32k miles
  • 6k service just done bar FD oil change (did that a year ago)
  • New battery last year
  • And probably more I've missed here

A few minor scratches and blemishes as expected on a used bike but nothing major. Seat cover is getting a bit worn so could do with a change at some point. Mileage likely to go up slightly as it's being used.

I'm ideally looking at selling this last week of June.

Nice bike but c’mon Victor I’ve not been on the forum for two years and even I remember that sales requesting ‘offers’ aren’t allowed.

“PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING FOR SALE ADS.
by Gromit » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:32 am

1. With immediate effect, only those with 10 or more posts will be permitted to place 'For Sale' ads in the Classifieds. Those with less than this will have their ads removed, as will those just showing links to their sale elsewhere. Those answering 'wanted' requests MUST have 10 posts or more as these are effectively selling - hope that's understandable.

2. Ads which simply state 'offers' or 'please pm me for price' etc will be removed. All sellers should know how much they wish to get for an item, so please state it in the ad. If really not sure, just do a search on eBay under completed listings.”

Due to leaving shortly I was actually going to consider any offer.

In that case, how about 5250? Or best offer, over or under :)

Hi

Value is always a difficult thing. We all want to realise the maximum for our steeds come sale time but looking at recent Fleabay sales, I will offer £4K tops. Which you might think is insulting but hope you don't :o)

Have a think.

Why so? It was an honest offer, nothing to hide. The vendor wants offers.

And yet - you already identified that it could be construed to be insulting........

Hey - up to you, but I think you’ve identified yourself as a low-baller.

That might work out for you or it might not...........

Why are people with no skin in the game 'having a go' at someone who responds to the advert

£4999 as I'm moving next week, would rather have someone else enjoying this awesome bike than storing it in the garage for the next years.

All, despite I'm living abroad since 3 months this is still for sale, my best friend has documentation and keys and can show it should someone be interested, just let me know.

New season!

Bike has been in a garage with tricky charger (hopefully battery is still alive) since I left last year, if anyone is interested please let me know and I can arrange for viewings.

Cheers!
