I guess the red stickers on the mirrors might do it, although Postit note reminders stuck around my computer screen quickly disappear ...

I'd agree with that Sproggy, except that most of the 11S's for sale on MCN, Bike Trader and the official BM dealers site had similar miles or greater and were a lot more dosh [especially the main BM dealers].

BMW Stand
Hopefully, someone on here will have experience of the OEM stand and others. I can only comment on the OEM version. It's very well built but has three major drawbacks [possibly]. I say possibly because I've not had it on my 11S yet but, on the Rockster [it's the same stand but with modified height ...

Although new to the 1100S, I've had a Rockster for four years. The addition of the "S" was in pursuit of more comfort when touring.
The new bike is an '03 grey/mandarin with 18000 on, just bought at SBW Hertford. It came with a dodgy mandarin belly-pan [so that'll either have to go or get resprayed ...
