Abba Stand

Having bought myself an Abba stand as recommended by many people I find I cant use it on my Boxer Cup when the sidestand is down as the Abba stand wants to go where the sidestand is when I lift it.
Anyone else got this problem ?

Boxer Cup history

I've got a Randy Mamola replica registered Dec 02 and I can't figure out the model history.
It seems there were 25 initial model with a Union Jack bellypan and a plaque on the top yoke , the blue and white Randy Mamola and then the Red/White/Blue model.
Were they the 02 , 03 and 04 models in that ...

The ebay one above is the OEM version [although it's not really BMW, it's just marketed by them] and, as I said, it has some drawbacks [the one pictured is already rusty on the spring-loaded shaft and is quite pricey with 8 days to go].

The ABBA version looks identical to one I have in my ...
