Re: Oh no not again ......

Indeed, well done Steve and I hope it goes ok. My local independent mechanic reckons that round here (Warwick / Leamington) the number of 'proper' bike shops has gone from half a dozen to two or so over the last 5 years. Lord knows how it's going to play out with Reeves running the economy. Meanwhil...

Very smart Steve; how do you make room in the kitchen?

Re: And I thought biking was supposed to be cheap...

Indeed! I was mulling further - the M has a top whack around 200mph (claimed 314kph) plus a load of high value stats to boost its credentials. If you demand the other two wheels, windcreen and heater without compromising performance, I guess you'd be in the market for something like a Lamborghini Hu...

And I thought biking was supposed to be cheap...

I took the GS down to the Lizard a couple of weeks back and called in at Ocean in Falmouth for a couple of sealing washers £1 each... Among the £20k or so GSs etc was a very smart M1000RR listed at a mere £32,000 or so... What is going on? Who buys one of these? Surely at that price you expect them ...

Re: 1st trip of '24

Have fun Steve and I hope it goes well. I'll be up that way sort of, but at the end of June - scenic route to Shetland via Ardnamurchan and Dunnet Head (according to the plan, I'll be in Orkney for 6 hours or so which is something of a missed opportunity, but there we go...). Oh, and welcome to Pens...

Re: Mulling over ...

Hmm, toughie! How much the HP2S and how much would you ride it? Both the BCR and K1 are surely each iconic in their way; I suppose there's no way you could simply add the HP2S to the Parry fleet :D ?

Way to go Steve - sadly I'll be on garden slavery duty but I hope it goes well. Please tell us you get something for contributing your stable?

+1 here too. Loved it, great to meet everyone again; many thanks Steve for organising and many thanks also for the magnificent prizes, now in pride of place on my desk.

Very much looking forward to next year! J

Now I've read the question properly :D I'd be tempted to upgrade my response to 'all good' from 'some errors'! Seems to be working fine atm. J

Re: Additional Lights Mind Games...

Interesting, got it and thanks for that - I'll take a closer look at some stage. For now mine can stay the 'right' way up and I'll see how it goes. I think they'll go on upside down without fouling anything, and on the last Blue Bike I had them upside down with no problem... But past performance is ...

Blimey, good luck Steve. I've been through one or two of those 11am all staff meetings and it's not fun so fingers crossed for the Triumph gig.

So you'll be on some state of the art effort in May?

Re: Additional Lights Mind Games...

Thanks Steve, interesting how pukka Fleabay can be... I wimped out and threw $$ at a Denali S4 kit; fitted last weekend and will sort alignment in due course. Triggered from the high beam feed (white cable off front connector set, informed by a wiring diagram from GS-Forum.eu). The Denali set comes ...
