Some great deals about on the Suzuki DL1000 Vstrom, it's light, comfortable, has ABS and Traction Control and loads of torque.

R1200S or R1200ST wanted in Scotland
Sold my last R1200S to a friend and missing it so if you're selling one in Scotland please let me know.
Can't be bothered traveling past Carlisle and couldn't buy a bike without seeing it.
R1200ST is also an option.
Cheers,
Toddy

R1200S seat problem
The rear seat strap has broken on our R1200S and therefore can't remove it so wondering if anyone has any ideas?
A photo of under the rear seat would be handy if someone could oblige.
Thanks.

Thanks BMbler
That's all new information, DVLA are changing quite a few things and I've just found this 'Mutual Recognition', all very confusing.
Last time I imported a bike from Ireland DVLA we're very helpful so will give them a call.
Cheers,
Toddy

Certificate of Conformity
Hiya, Am thinking of buying a R1200S from a pal in Ireland and reading the 'How to register an imported vehicle' stuff from DVLA, it looks like I need to get a Certificate of Conformity. If I google that, it looks like there was a BMW part number but it's now not available. Any ideas where I'd get o...

Trouble changing email
Hi there,
Tried to update my email and received the message
'This email is banned'
Tried to email forum and it bounced back.
Ehhhh?
Any ideas?
I'm looking for a R1200S and of course this would be a good place to start.
Best,
Toddy

Sore bum.......need wide seat
After a couple of fantastic 250 mile runs round the Higlands then the Borders it has become apparent that the seat on my R1100S is 10" wide and my bum is 20" wide. Therefore the bits that are in contact are sore. Dose anyone know of a manufacturer who does one that spreads the load ?? Rgds...

All done
Hornig only took a week to deliver everything although I did get the BMW socket as it has a point to connect the wiring already on the bike and a nice wee bracket to attach it. You were right about the Oil Coller Grill from B & Q as it is so simple. Thanks for your help!!
