Mine fits in my panniers but not if it's in its bag. I normally wrap it up in a jacket and stick in in the panniers or I ditch the panniers and put it in a rucksack.

I have the touring pannier covers not the city ones which I believe are narrower. I'm pretty sure you'd get a laptop in the city ones ...

Getting to the battery

Bloody hell they hid the battery well on these bikes didn't they

Thought I'd install the connector plug thingy off my optimate charger on the bike so I don't have to get to the battery very often. An hour (+) later the job's done and I'm glad I don't have to do that again in a hurry.

Anyway, got home this morning and took the bike out for a blast. What a great toy this is.

I live in Basingstoke although currently I'm waitingfor a plane in Dallas, surrounded by screaming brats and lots of loud people all of whom are "having a nice day" :roll:

yes, I think I bought at a good time. I think I got a good price too. I haven't ridden the 12 either but my feeling is it's aimed at a different market. I want a bike to ride to work in comfort with an element of weather protection but then be able to have fun at weekends. The lack of hard ...
