We've had our Mk1 Fabia for about 5 years and it has been pretty reliable. Just had to sort out a problem with the power steering, which I hope I have fixed now with a replacement pump. Otherwise it has been great. I like driving it - got a few gadgets but generally simple fare. Pretty good handling...

Yep indeedy. If the bottom of the 12S engine is anything like flat that should work well. Obviously get the bellypan out of the way first if you happen to have one fitted.
